Six Sigma Black Belt certification provides a good understanding of the most widely used six sigma tools, techniques and gains a lot of skills to succeed. Black Belts are able to play roles such as leader, Business Strategist, Communicator and Change Agent.

Prerequisites to become a Six Sigma Black Belt Certified:

To attain Six Sigma Black Belt certification, professionals requires two complete projects with signed affidavits or one complete project with a signed affidavit and three years of work experience, in one or more areas of the Six Sigma Body of Knowledge.

Work experience must be in a full‐time, paid role. Paid intern, co‐op or any other coursework cannot be applied towards the work experience requirement.

Along with the experience, you need some more qualities to become Six Sigma Black Belts i.e innovative thinking, ability to understand the customer requirements and expectations, effective communication, management, and leadership skills to produce tangible financial results for the business.
